rely on your rental history before leasing. Apartments that do check your credit report and note your
bankruptcy filing may simply require an additional security deposit before agreeing to lease to you.
Poor credit and outstanding balances showing on your credit report are more adverse to apartments
than a bankruptcy filing followed by positive credit reports.
